Huipil - Santiago Atitlan, Woman H_SA_13-07 Coban and stretched on a woodenSantiago Atitlan Women's Huipil Light lavender cotton base material with black and darker lavender (mauve?) stripes woven into the fabric. The top portion of the huipil has interesting cross stripe design of lavender and black "dots" with a speck of metallic gold in the center. The flowers are hand embroidered with some metallic thread. Ends of panels are hemmed on one side other side I'm not sure whether nicely cut or loose selvage (I would suggest
